Paula Canovas del Vas is the London-based designer behind the eponymous label established in 2018, exploring established interpretations of femininity, power, and sustainability using thought-provoking contrasts.
A Central Saint Martins alumna, Paula was named by The New York Times as one of the emerging designers to watch.
In 2019, the SS20 collection was presented using a multi-player virtual reality installation titled See, Saw, Seen, developed in partnership with HTC and WeWork.
In 2020, Paula presented her AW20 collection with Flat Viewing, an installation set within a historic building of Le Marais' Place des Vosges, welcoming the viewer into Canovas del Vas' fictitious apartment, developed in partnership with Julie Gamberoni.
The SS21 collection was created and presented in the midst of European lockdowns and offered an ‘escapist fantasy with clothing︎, as reported by i-D.
Autumn-Winter 2021 follows recent installations at MAXFIELD, Los Angeles (Sept. 2020), and GR8 Laforet Harajuku in Tokyo (Oct. 2020).
